Core Responsibilities:
Installation and commissioning of LV, MV and HV electrical equipment to provide electrical infrastructure
Maintenance, refurbishment and repair of LV, MV and HV electrical distribution network to sustain uninterrupted service
Inspection, maintenance and replacement of LPU electricity meters
Inspection, maintenance and replacement of current and voltage transformer connected electricity meters
Maintenance of public lighting equipment to provide an acceptable level of service
Maintenance of the electrical wiring installation of Substations and Energy Distribution Business Unit related buildings to comply with statutory requirements
Comply with safety regulations as required by the OHS Act
Execute administrative and general duties to promote productivity and service delivery
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
Accredited Electrician Trade Test Certificate
Knowledge of Municipal Distribution Network
Valid Code C1 Driver’s License with PrDP
3 years’ post qualification experience in similar environment
